- Partnering with PTA for food driver – 250lbs of food from SHS estimated
- Organizing candy sales for Valentine’s Day.
- Extracurricular grant funding is available for authorized club activity -> they will reimburse you for the activity
- Please request Ipads early for bake sales
Principal Bonamo’s Report
- Applauding student performances – Drama Club, Orchestra, Band, Choir -> All outstanding performances
- Thanks to PTA for sponsoring the gambling presentation for 10th graders
New flagship Schoolwide event
- Hoping to bring the student body together and increase spirit
- Ex: lack of turnout at community dinner or pep rallies
- Ideas
- Club showcase day – Friday After school/Saturday
- Clubs run workshops -> provide an opportunity for younger community members to engage and get a glimpse into high school
- Also good activity for high schoolers as well
- Nighttime music-related event
- Ex: Battle of the Bands, maybe something similar to Palette event held last year by NAHS
- Teacher-student basketball game
- Very popular idea at the meeting -> will look more into it as a feasible plan

Brainstorming Wellness initiatives
- In addition to initiatives by the Mental Health Awareness club, School Government is brainstorming other ways to improve student’s mental health
- Taking inspiration from wellness activities at the middle school.
