Pink Football Game

The Scarsdale varsity football team played on Dean Field against Suffern on Saturday, October 13th at 7:00 pm. When the Raiders won 19-3, everyone, both on the team and in the audience, exhibited their enthusiasm. In order to honor breast cancer awareness month, the attendees of the game were asked to wear pink. Many people showed their support by complying with this request and publicizing the cause, which greatly helped to raise awareness for the third most prevalent form of cancer. “The game was an extremely memorable experience. Scarsdale played really well!” said Ashwin Sriskanthan ’20 after attending the exciting event. Overall, the game was a positive experience for Scarsdale and for the appreciation for breast cancer awareness month, and the results of the game further demonstrate that notion.
