Scenes from a New Normal
June 5, 2020
Scenes from a New Normal is a documentary that captures the Coronavirus pandemic through the lens of one town: Scarsdale, New York. After over 25 interviews and 38 hours of footage, the final film compiles the stories of students, administrators, business owners, patients, and doctors. Behind the scenes, all production and interviews were done via Zoom, making it one of the first films to have done so. The documentary was made by Scarsdale High School sophomores Jordan Cascade, Jake Lubin and Will Reed.

I loved the drone shot 50 seconds into the video where you can actually see the buildings of Manhattan all the way in the distance, with the track in the foreground. Beautifully done!
I also think the buildings to the left are New Rochelle. Can’t be White Plains.
