Scarsdale High School teachers have been extremely sympathetic and supportive to the whole community, specifically Seniors during this unprecedented time. Last Thursday, groups of teachers paraded around the streets of Scarsdale, serenading each Senior at their homes, and placing a sign on each of their lawns that read “SHS Seniors 2020 #allinthistogether.” Teachers decked their cars out with balloons and some even wrote inspirational messages on their windows. They blasted the song, We’re All In This Together as a festive tribute to what would have been the senior class play, High School Musical. The song appropriately captures the shared experience of living through this pandemic. Teachers had pompoms and cheered on each graduating Senior. While COVID-19 has brought much loss and hardship, it has also brought out the strong spirit and good will of the community.
