Two seniors Jack Callahan ’18 and James Conlan ’18 will continue the canceled Assassin game, with some changes. “This game has been a tradition at the school for many years and I, like many others, did not want the tradition to end. I decided to take action and run the game,” said Conlan.

Conlan met with SHS principal Kenneth Bonamo to discuss solutions to student and faculty uneasiness. The game has been officially renamed Marker Tag. If your assassin’s marker is uncapped, instead of yelling “ASSASSIN” like previous years, students are to yell “GOTCHA.” A rule has also been added: when entering the school, the security must be able to see the face of the student.

Alex Hart ’18 and Josh Cohen ’18 have pledged to donate any money earned in the game and are asking other participants to do the same. Currently, a total of 11 other students have agreed to the pledge.

The game is now scheduled to begin this Monday, March 5th. 135 seniors will participate.
