On March 17, 2023, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour officially began with its opening night in Glendale, AZ. Swift’s concert lasted over three hours, with a total of forty-four songs on her setlist from her following albums: six songs from her albums Lover, three songs from Fearless, five songs from Evermore, four songs from Reputation, one song from Speak Now, four songs from Red, seven songs from Folklore, five songs from 1989, two surprise songs that were not on the song list that will differ for every stadium she visits, and seven songs from Midnights. Swift’s fans were shocked by her decision to perform only “Enchanted” from Speak Now. It was surprising compared to the several songs she played from her other albums. Fans hope Swift will perform more from Speak Now as her surprise songs.

Swift’s concert included over thirteen outfit changes, at least one for each album. Some albums, such as Red and Midnights, were performed with multiple outfits. From sequin bodysuits to silky dresses, Swift’s outfits continue to impress her fans. “I think she did an amazing job recreating nostalgic outfits with modern twists,” Elle Lee ’26 commented. Most notably, the sequined gown Swift wore performing “Enchanted” donned the same breathtaking elegance as a fairy-tale princess. “It was so stunningly ethereal,” Lee said. “She managed to get the drama of Speak Now into an outfit perfectly.” With such captivating dresses and many dates remaining on her tour, Swift’s Eras Tour has effortlessly seized the spotlight for celebrities this spring.
