In July, tragedy struck Westchester as people learned that the famous Ralph’s Italian Ices and Ice Cream, everyone’s favorite destination for the popular “cream ice” was closing. Ralph’s was conveniently located in Mamaroneck, NY, only five short miles from Scarsdale. As the beloved ice cream stand closed, customers were left confused. Ralph’s was forced to shut down because of zoning issues. Fortunately, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Ralph’s has reopened in a new location at 850 N. Broadway (Route 22) North White Plains. Ice cream and Italian ice fans will soon be able to comfort themselves with Ralph’s while drowning in schoolwork once again!
