In the upcoming weeks, a new SHS app will be released by its creators Alex Arovas (Project Leader & Programmer), Hudson Jakubowicz (Marketing), and George Liu (Backend). 

The app will contain new features not previously existent in the old app. “[To access] this app, all you need is your Scarsdale Schools email. You just log in with that,” said sophomore Hudson Jakubowicz ’20. The many components include a map that pinpoints your location in the school;  the user can set a classroom destination to figure out where they need to go, which could be invaluable for freshmen at the start of the school year. The app is also equipped with your schedule, classes, homework, clubs, sports, and the school calendar. On days with schedule changes, the app will show the user the new schedule for that day. There also is an absent teacher board along with a bulletin board.

The new features makes the app completely worthwhile to download and utilize.
