SHS Students Travel Across the Pacific
Three rising seniors—Sarina Fard, Jennifer Farfel, and Max Yang—recently attended the 13th Hwa Chong Asia-Pacific Young Leaders Summit in Singapore. From July 21st to 26th, students engaged in dialogue on key issues facing the world, such as protectionism and climate change, with 27 schools from 14 countries. Additionally, they had tea with President of Singapore Halimah Yacob, and they also were immersed in experimental learning, visiting prominent organizations—such as Enterprise Singapore, a government organization that fosters start-up companies.
