The Scarsdale Music Festival brought the whole community together for a celebration of music.

If you saw dogs barking, people talking, and the smell of pizza wafting in the air this past weekend, then you were most likely at Scarchella. This year, Scarsdale started its own music festival in the village where people could listen to live music, eat food, and spend time with their friends. “It was a lot of fun. The band was really passionate about their music, and the audience was very engaged,” said Juliana Zraick ’22.

There were food trucks, a stage for a performance, a children’s section for arts and crafts, and an “Adults Only” area.  All the events, such as a bouncy house and a wine tasting, appealed to everyone that was at the festival.

“Where is Phi?” was among one of the bands to perform. Town residents took to the stage, and the lead singer, Lisa Goldberg, sang beautifully. Many people were enjoying themselves at the event such as New York State Legislator, Andrea Stewart-Cousins. “This is really the most I have had fun in a really long time in Scarsdale. It shows all the great things in Scarsdale, and it’s wonderful,” said Cousins.
