Girls’ Swim Season 2015

Girls+Swim+Season+2015

The 2015 fall season for Scarsdale’s Girls Swim team proved to be one of its most successful seasons to date. “This year is the first year that we are sending three girls to States: me, Tanvi Pabby, and Samantha Ho,” commented Scottie Berridge ’16. Ho will be competing for diving, and Pabby and Berridge will be there to swim. One reason for the team’s success could be the new recruits from this year. “We had a lot of great swimmers who joined the team, as well as better times from the team in general, making for a really great season,” noted Sabeen Khan ’17. Although they did not experience many major wins, it did not matter to the team, whose drive and excitement shone through in any situation. “Wen we won for the first time it was awesome. I was very proud of my team and I think everyone else was really happy and proud of us too,” gushed Nicole Romano ’16.
